Sonar's got a big one in the wings, with a bill on June 13th that sports Neon Indian, Wild Nothing, Dominique Young Unique, and DJ Cullen Stalin.
Neon Indian dropped an LP dubbed Psychic Chasms last year, all while the internet has been bursting at the seams with endless varieties of chill-wave jams. Alan Palomo is from Denton, Texas, and has been cooking up some of the smoothest and danceable synth pop tracks you'll find around the interwebs.
Virginia's Wild Nothing are a recent blogosphere favorite, having just released the follow up to their debut. Gemini seems pretty worthy of the hype, and is now available via Captured Tracks.
Sonar gave me a pair of passes to this one to offer up for free, so email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with "NEON INDIAN" in the subject line. I'll pick a winner the night before the show.
